Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ShopEspress, a peer-to-peer campus marketplace connecting verified students at participating universities. By creating an account or using ShopEspress, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be a currently enrolled student with a valid, verified student email address, and at least 13 years old, to use ShopEspress.

2. The ShopEspress Role

ShopEspress is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users, do not take ownership of listed items, and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by vendors. See our Acceptable Use Policy for prohibited items and conduct.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@shopespress.online if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Listings and Transactions

Vendors are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for fulfilling orders as described. Most transactions are completed via in-person, on-campus exchange — see our Shipping Policy for details.

5. Payments

ShopEspress uses TradeSafe, a licensed escrow payment provider, to process all payments. Funds paid by a buyer are held securely by TradeSafe and only released to the vendor once the transaction is confirmed complete; ShopEspress does not hold or manage buyer funds directly. See our Refund Policy for how payments and disputes are handled.

6. Fees

Creating an account and listing items is free. Any applicable platform commission is disclosed at the point of sale.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

ShopEspress is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions between users.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ShopEspress after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
